What I Shed Today

lightening up a little at a time

direct mail marketing from Charter Communications

on January 25, 2014

Every week, sometimes twice or thrice, we receive direct mail solicitations from Charter Communications, a cable and broadband service provider that has a large footprint in our part of the US. We neither have nor want a business relationship with Charter at this time, and its deluge of letters are wasteful and unwelcome clutter. I thought we’d opted out of such junk mail on the list maintained by the Direct Marketing Association, but Nimue briefs me that we somehow dropped that ball for our current address. So we’ll sign up soon with DMAchoice.org, but tonight, I’ve got Charter in my sights. I had to dig a bit to find their opt-out request form. But here it is:

Make it stop!

Make it stop!

Thanks, Charter, and goodbye! Please don’t take it personally. AT&T U-verse junk mail is next to shed.

shedding style: refuse
